Oscar is an orange roan, working x show cocker spaniel born in Kent on 7th November 2014. His mum is the beautiful Lola, a lemon roan show cocker spaniel and his dad is Milo, a gorgeous blue roan, working cocker spaniel
Oscar has always been completely full of energy and very friendly, despite being a little shy at first. He gets very excited when meeting other dogs or people. His favourite thing is to be let off to go and play with another dog, there is nothing better in the world!
My name is Lucy and I’m an amateur photographer
My love for photography first started when we got Oscar in January 2015, I just couldn’t resist taking photos of that beautiful little face and for want of a place to share them, I started up his very own Instagram account which now, unbelievably, has over 11 thousand followers!
In May 2015 I got my first ‘proper’ camera, a Panasonic FZ72 bridge camera that I loved and it carried me through to April 2016 when I’d finally saved up enough money to buy a DSLR body, a Nikon D5300, which came with the 18-55mm kit lens.
Now I shoot mainly with my Nikkor 55-200mm f/4-5.6G zoom lens and my Nikkor 50mm f/1.8G lens, and I’m very happy with them, using them mostly for Oscar, nature and the occasional portrait.
